About the Event
John Lecky, a Pittsburgh-based singer/songwriter, has released four albums and one EP under the name "Aloha Salvation." He began his musical journey in New Jersey in the mid-'90s, performing with notable local post-punk bands like Jerry's Other Kids and Scrod Rocket. Later, he shifted to cover bands, playing in clubs across central New Jersey. After moving to Pittsburgh in 2015, John focused solely on songwriting, stepping away from bands and live performances. Aloha Salvation features raw, intimate, original music, typically performed with just acoustic guitar or piano.
