Starting in musical theatre, Connor Parente always had an interest in songwriting. A self-described old soul, his influences are as diverse as his songs. His performances incluBrian Junker blends fingerstyle acoustic guitar with Appalachian banjo and mandolin, paired with his warm tenor voice. His songs are vignettes of life, rendered through traditional instrumentation and folk influences. Beyond his own songwriting, Brian introduces audiences to the works of lesser-known but remarkable singer-songwriters, offering both original music and hidden gems. With heartfelt delivery and a genuine connection to his craft, Brian’s performances provide a soulful and engaging evening of storytelling through song.
